Schools Workshops
Workshops are creative
group sessions for teenagers that follow a particular theme.
The themes looked at
include:
·
self-esteem
·
anger
·
relationships
·
communication
These workshops are a
fantastic way to build on a young person’s social ability and help them to develop life-changing skills such as
empathy and active listening, giving them a greater self-awareness. We do this through creative workshops using
art work and drama.
Workshops for schools can
be tailored to meet your particular needs concentrating on the themes that you feel your teens would most
benefit from. The length of the programme can also be adjusted to fit in with your timetable ranging from one
stand alone session (looking at one chosen theme) to all ten sessions (for more in-depth teaching). This can be
run within the school day or as an after-school club.
The workshops fully
support the SEAL initiative teaching the teens about empathy, communication,
self-awareness, relationships and managing feelings such as anger.
