Person Centred
I use person centred therapy which means I aim to provide you with three main things; empathy / understanding, a non-judgemental approach and honesty / openness. I will help you to take a step back from your situation and to see things in a clearer light.
Cost
I offer a free half hour chat to anyone interested in counselling. After this the usual cost is £35 per session and £45 for couples. Sessions last for approximately 50 minutes and are weekly or fortnightly. Online counselling costs £22.50 per session.
If you are in financial difficulty, please contact me as I do have a limited number of reduced price sessions available for low income households and students. If you fail to attend a session without giving prior notice, you will still be charged.
Confidentiality
I will talk to you about confidentiality in our first meeting and will ask you to sign a contract which explains the counselling process and talks through confidentiality. I will also sign this. The contract can be viewed by clicking here or visiting the link at the top left of the page.
Number of Sessions
There is no limit to the number of sessions you can have. I will offer 6 to begin with and this will be reviewed regularly. You can expect to have between 6 and 12 sessions.
